Kipp Trembley is a transpersonal psychotherapist who centers his work on a client-centered approach and a belief that people possess an innate capacity to grow and access inner wisdom. He invites clients to explore their thoughts and emotions boldly within a warm, collaborative space where new insight, skills, and practical solutions can emerge.
He meets people where they are and tailors his therapeutic approach to each person’s presenting needs, encouraging active participation in the healing process. When appropriate and agreed upon, he may take a more active role in sessions by offering suggestions, interpretations, or challenges, and by facilitating self-empowering therapeutic hypnosis, creative arts and expression, journaling, meditation and mindfulness training, dream exploration, and evidence-based strategies such as CBT and DBT. He also may occasionally suggest homework to reinforce progress between sessions.
Kipp values meeting basic human needs that support psychological health and offers assistance to connect clients with resources as needed and as able. His practice commonly addresses depression, anxiety, grief and loss, stress and anger management, trauma and PTSD, interpersonal and family conflict, parenting challenges, relationship issues, self-esteem concerns, career difficulties, bipolar disorder, coping with life changes, and some health-related challenges including nicotine addiction.
He is a Washington State licensed mental health counselor, holding license LH60595254. Kipp maintains strict office hours and is not available for after-hours messaging; his practice hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Tuesday through Friday. During those hours he generally responds at least once each morning and once each afternoon, often more, and clients may schedule live sessions in advance.
Please note that online therapy is not appropriate for crisis situations or immediate emergencies. In a crisis, call 911 or local emergency services, or call 1-800-273-TALK (8255) to speak with someone right away.
