“You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.” - C.S. Lewis
Rachel Lefkowitz is a Licensed Master Social Worker practicing in Michigan who brings five years of clinical experience to her work. She has worked across a range of settings, including behavioral and mental health, care management, addiction services, crisis response, child and family counseling, and medical care management.
Rachel uses a client-centered approach that treats the person seeking help as the expert in their own life. She often helps clients identify cognitive distortions and other thinking patterns that contribute to unhelpful behaviors and emotional distress. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), she guides clients to uncover those patterns, challenge limiting beliefs, and reframe thinking to support healthier, more intentional living.
Known for an empathic and compassionate style, Rachel aims to provide a non-judgmental space where clients can be authentic. Her goal is to help people develop practical strategies to manage life’s challenges so they can move toward greater well-being and satisfaction.
