Latrisha “Trish” Mooberry earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Illinois with a focus on Child and Family Services and now practices as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois. She has a decade of clinical experience working with individuals across the state.
Trish aims to help people move beyond what is holding them back by combining several evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and emotionally focused techniques (EFT). As a trauma-informed therapist, she supports exploration of past experiences while building practical skills for the present.
She works with clients facing trauma and abuse, relationship and family conflicts, anxiety, depression, grief, anger, self-esteem concerns, career difficulties, compassion fatigue, and other life changes. Trish offers weekly 30-minute video sessions and can consider one-hour appointments on a case-by-case basis upon inquiry.
She welcomes contact from anyone who feels she might be a good fit and is available to provide therapy to individuals throughout Illinois.
For many common concerns—such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions—remote therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person care. Research and clinical practice have shown that these types of issues often respond well to virtual formats.
One major benefit of online therapy is flexibility. People can meet with a therapist in the way that fits their schedule and comfort level, choosing from video visits, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. That adaptability makes it easier to integrate therapy into a busy life.
Each therapist you work with will be a licensed professional, and if you feel you need a different fit you are free to switch providers. Online therapy can offer a practical, accessible path to consistent support when dealing with everyday mental health challenges.
