Young adulthood is a distinct life phase marked by big decisions, new responsibilities, and shifting relationships. For many people, the years between late teens and the early 30s involve leaving home, starting higher education or a career, forming long-term partnerships, and figuring out identity and values. Assess logistics: confirm that they provide online sessions in your state or region, check availability that fits your schedule, and ask about session formats (video, phone, messaging). It’s reasonable to request a brief consultation to see whether the therapist’s style and approach feel comfortable.
